Performance Automotive Service Advisor

Are you passionate about high-performance cars and enjoy helping customers bring their dream builds to life?

KSR Performance & Fabrication is one of North Florida's premier performance automotive shops, specializing in high-performance upgrades, custom fabrication, engine swaps, suspension, driveline, EFI tuning, and complete vehicle builds. We work on everything from classic muscle cars and Pro Touring builds to modern performance vehicles and race cars.

We're looking for someone who enjoys talking cars, solving problems, and building lasting relationships with customers. This position is much more than just invoicing; it's about helping customers develop a plan for their build while keeping projects organized from start to finish.

If you're the type of person who gets excited discussing horsepower, suspension setups, LS swaps, forced induction, or custom fabrication, we'd love to talk with you.

What You'll Do

• Meet with customers to understand their goals, concerns, and performance objectives.
• Build estimates for repairs, upgrades, and complete vehicle projects.
• Schedule work and help manage shop workflow.
• Communicate with technicians throughout the build process.
• Keep customers informed with regular progress updates.
• Recommend products and upgrades that fit each customer's goals and budget.
• Ensure every customer receives exceptional service from initial consultation through vehicle delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, estimates, invoices, and customer communications.
• Help create a positive experience that earns repeat business and referrals.
• Manage parts inventory and parts website.
• Shipping and receiving parts and merchandise

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor, service writer, or in a similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Understanding of automotive systems.
• Knowledge of high-performance vehicles is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Comfortable using shop management software and computer systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Bonus Experience

While not required, experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Performance modifications
• Fabrication projects
• Muscle & performance cars
• EFI systems
• Power Adder Systems
• Suspension and chassis upgrades
• Motorsports or racing
