The ideal candidate will have a passion for performance vehicles, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and excellent customer service skills. As a Performance Automotive Service Writer, you will be the liaison between our customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring clear communication and a seamless service experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers and listen to their needs regarding their performance vehicles.
- Schedule projects/appointments and manage the service workflow.
- Provide detailed explanations of the best options for performance and fabrication upgrades.
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, and other services.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate communication with the customers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all service transactions and customer interactions.
- Recommend additional services and performance products based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive-related certifications are a plus.
- Experience as a service writer, advisor, or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, particularly in performance vehicles (Holley EFI knowledge a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using automotive service software and tools.
- Passion for performance vehicles and automotive technology.
